About Cuffern Manor Cottages

Cuffern is set on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is in the heart of the countryside, but within a 15 minute drive of Haverfordwest and St David's. The beautiful and rugged coastal path and the 2 mile long sandy beach at Newgale are little more than 5 minutes by car. The scenic harbour village of Solva nestles a further 5 minutes away, where there is a good choice of places to eat.

Cuffern was a former country estate, with the main house, coach house and cottages at its heart and lies a little over a mile from the village of Roch which has a very good general store/PO. There is also a church, a friendly pub, which offers good value food, and a takeaway.

The 18th century, stone built, Coach House and cottages were substantially modernised in the mid 1990's and now centrally heated are available as warm and comfortable self catering holiday cottages . We feel sure that our well equipped cottages will be an ideal base for your holiday home to just relax and enjoy the peace, or because of Cuffern's ideal location, you can easily discover the many attractions on offer in this lovely county. You may rest assured of a warm welcome whether you stay for a few days' break or take a longer holiday.

There are numerous footpaths and bridleways in the area for you to discover. If you are looking for more than a relaxing break, virtually every outdoor activity is catered for within easy reach. The area offers a wealth of local artists and craftsmen. Boat trips to the bird island sanctuaries of Grassholm, Skomer and Skokholm are a must for birdwatchers. The county town of Haverfordwest has all the facilities that you would expect including banks, shops, museum and restaurants. Further west is the city of St David's, the UK's smallest city, which has a magnificent cathedral, a Bishop's Palace as well as a myriad of shops, restaurants and galleries.

For those travelling to or from Ireland the ferry ports of Fishguard and Pembroke Dock are both within easy travelling distance.
